On December 7, the Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre after M.Jalil starts a joint project of the theater and the RT Ministry of Education and Science "Forever in our hearts", dedicated to the coming 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The project provides showing an opera poem by N.Zhiganov "Jalil" in the period from December 2014 to May 2015 (7 plays) for students in secondary and high school education institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Outstanding National Opera "Jalil", dedicated to the heroism of the Tatar poet during the Great Patriotic War was published in 1957. After the war, at home, Musa Jalil was considered a traitor. Only when famous "Moabit copy-books" by Musa Jalil came back to the USSR, all became aware of his work as part of an underground anti-fascist organization. The story of the life of a prisoner Jalil, his courage and heroic death - the main storyline of the opera by N.Zhiganov. Terrible images of war contrast pictures of the country, and left home where the poet his wife and daughter were waiting for.
The opera "Jalil" was staged in Kazan in 2011, director Mikhail Pandzhavidze. The play was made with the assistance of the XXI century technologies - video installations, computer graphics, scenery-trasformers (artist - Igor Grinevich). The producers have created a modern play, as close and friendly to audience of our time.
The main parties in performance will perform on Dec. 7: a soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Ahmed Agadi (Jalil), a soloist of the Moscow Novaya Opera Marina Nerabeeva (wife of the poet), the soloists of TASTOiB after M.Jalil Yuri Ivshin and Arthur Islam (Andre Timmermans and traitor Kanzafarov) conductor - Renat Salavatov.
