As part of the Decade of Disabled Persons a social action "Accessible Cinema" for people with disabilities to be held at the "Mir" cinema

On December 1-4, during the Decade of Persons with Disabilities a  social action "Accessible Cinema" for people with disabilities is held at the "Mir"  cinema.

The action initiated by the Republican Special Library for the  blind and Tatar regional organization of  RON  9(Russia Organization of the Blind)   jointly with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, GBUK RT "Tatarkino" and "Mir" cinema is  held for the second year in the republic. Its main objectives are familiarizing people with disabilities with the values of cinema, to give them the opportunity to feel full of moviegoers in conditions of  movie theater.

Within the action on December 1, 2, 3, 4, non-profit screenings with tiflo-commentaries  for the visually impaired and with subtitles for the hearing impaired  will be organized.

Tiflokommentary - is off-screen announcer description of the video sequence of the film, which is a commentary by the visual elements -  gestures, objects, costumes, scenery in the movie. This technology allows people, even in the absence of view, enjoy watching movies in full, provide the full range of visual techniques to evaluate the performance of the actors and the director's ideas, which are used by the authors of the film.

Within four days the attention of spectators with disabilities will be captured by d modern domestic films: "Private pioneer" – adventure by Andrei Karpilovsky  based on the same storybook   by Mikhail Seslavinskiy; "Seller toys" - a comedy Yuri Vasilyev, "Champions" - sports drama by   Dmitry Dyuzhev, Artem Aksenenko, Alexei Vakulov,  Emil Nikogosian based on the legendary victories about  Russia athletes; "Metro" - a disaster movie directed by Anton Megerdichev, loosely based on the eponymous novel by Dmitry Safonov.

Films for displays provided by a charitable foundation "Living Heart" cultural,   sports and rehabilitation complex  of the ROB (Moscow).
