RT State Symphony Orchestra conducted by Alexander Sladkovsky inscribed its name in the history of the Mariinsky Theatre

November 25, at the invitation of Maestro Valery Gergiev, the Mariinsky Concert Hall hosted the first concert of under St. Petersburg subscription of RT State Symphony Orchestra led by Alexander Sladkovsky.

"Invitation to the Mariinsky Theatre - is a great honor for our orchestra, and an incredible and important breakthrough in cultural life of our Republic into the global musical space", - says Alexander Sladkovsky.

Only the best orchestras awarded the honor to perform on the scene of one of the best concert halls in the country. Mariinsky Theatre Concert Hall has provided the residents of the northern capital the opportunity to hear the best foreign symphony orchestras: London, Bamberg, Munich, Vienna and Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic Octet, as well as famous conductors Christian Thielemann, Paavo Järvi and Riccardo Muti. GSO RT by Alexander Sladkovsky along with world-famous bands inscribed its name in the history of the Mariinsky Theatre.

The next performance by Tatarstan Orchestra at the Concert Hall will be held on January 23. Musicians will perform a piano concerto by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, symphonic poem "Isle of the Dead" and the First Symphony by Sergei Rachmaninoff.
