The Institute of additional vocational education of specialists in socio-cultural sphere and art held a round table on "Prospects for the development of playing wind instruments in the Russian Federation"

November 20, at the Institute of additional vocational education of  specialists in social and cultural spheres of art within the framework of the seminar on "Modern methods of learning to play the wind instruments in the music school" a round table on "Prospects for the development of playing wind instruments in the Russian Federation " was held.

It was attended by teachers of faculty departments of wind music school and art schools of the Republic of Tatarstan, of the system of education and culture. Presenter of the round table was Bolshiyanov Andrew Yurievich, Honored. Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Associate Professor of the St. Petersburg Conservatory named after NA Rimsky-Korsakov, director of children's art schools №19, St. Petersburg, the author of the "School on the saxophone" and Prokopov Vyacheslav Mikhailovich - trumpeter, Head of brass and percussion instruments of RAM after the Gnesins; Emeritus Professor of Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas; Honored Artist of the Russian Federation; Chairman of the "Association of musicians - horn players of Arts." Moderated by the Dean of the Faculty of Education musical V.N. Goptarev.

Presenters of the roundtable represent the color of the Russian performing school, modern elite. Their lives are durable and long associated with music education, and not only in the higher education system, but also with the education of children. Modern problems of vocational and further music education are very serious, but they find their reflection in the field of special education in the sphere of  playing  wind instruments. During the round table,   the problem of the state of music education in the country and the world were touched, the problems of modern musical culture. According to the view expressed by V.M. Prokopov performing, and playing musical education in the field of wind instruments are temporarily experiencing difficult times, but the situation should change for the better, which would require application of forces and enthusiasm of teachers and institutions.

Invitation of such distinguished guests for the Roundtable coincided with their participation in the IV All-Russian competition of ensembles of wind and percussion instruments as members of the jury.

To the word, the competition was held in Kazan on a very high level, and the results led to the conclusion about a very high level of development of playing wind instruments in the Russian Federation and in higher and secondary specialized education in the Republic of Tatarstan. Within the competition master classes by jury members were held, some of whom were invited to participate in the activities of the seminar, IDPO informs.
