In order to develop comprehensive cooperation and strengthen ties with the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ulyanovsk region from November 10 to 14 hosts the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In the framework of the Days of Culture of the Republic, a rich cultural program expects the residents of the Ulyanovsk region. Inauguration of the Culture Days will be held on November 10 at 19.00 at the Palace of Culture "Gubernatorsky", the photo exhibition of Tatarstan to be located in the foyer. The program "Music from favorite movies" in performance by the RT State Folk Orchestra under the direction of People's Artist of Russia and Honoured Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, professor Anatoly Shutikov opens the Days of Culture of Tatarstan in the Ulyanovsk region. At the concert music by M. Dunayevsky, A.Gladkov, A.Zatsepin, M.Taraverdiev, A. Petrov, K. Molchanov, V. Gridin, M. Tsfasman, E. Ptichkin from the movie "Two Captains" Autumn Marathon ". "The Dawns Here Are Quiet", "Walking the Streets of Moscow", "Kuban Cossacks", "Seventeen Moments of Spring", "Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Profession", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "12 chairs" and others are to be performed.
The Tatar State Academic Theatre named after Galiaskar Kamal presents the play "Bankrupt" based on the classic of Tatar drama, staged by Farid Bikchantaev. The play will be presented on November 11, at 19.00 onstage of the Ulyanovsk Drama Theater named after Ivan Goncharov.
It is worth noting that the "Bankrupt", one of the new theater performances, dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the classic drama Tatar, whose name the theater bears. The premiere was held a year ago, on the birthday of the prominent Tatar director Marcel Salimzhanov. The play by Galiaskar Kamal "Bankrupt" unfolds against the backdrop of revolutionary changes of the early twentieth century. It was a time of pivotal events in history, big adventures and new inventions that capture the imagination of everyman of that era. The "Bankrupt" has been remembered to Kazan viewer by ambitious artistic goals. Especially for theater performances a life size tram had been made, which performs many functions. Almost all of the troupe takes part in the play.
The artists of Buinsk State Drama Theatre will perform on November 12 and 13, at 18.30 on the stage of drama theater named after N. Ostrovsky in Dimitrovgrad and House of culture "Ruslan" in Ulyanovsk.
The National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan presents the exhibition "Perishing, a hero will not die", dedicated to the poet-hero M. Jalil and the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The opening will take place at the Ulyanovsk regional museum named after Ivan Goncharov on November 10 at 14.00. The exhibition continues until December 10. As part of the project together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Ulyanovsk region lessons of courage are planned in regional schools.
In addition to performances by leading collectives of the republic, a roundtable discussion themed "Culture as an integral part of the attractiveness of the territory" with the creative and scientific intelligentsia of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ulyanovsk region are scheduled.
The Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan to be concluded by the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan at the Great Hall of the Lenin memorial in the lobby, which spaces also an exhibition of products by masters of arts and crafts of Tatarstan with master classes by leading craftsmen of the country. The event starts at 18.00.
The main event of the Days of Culture of Tatarstan will be the signing of the Agreement between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Arts and Cultural Policy of the Ulyanovsk region on cooperation in the sphere of culture and arts.
The Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Ulyanovsk region will be an outstanding event in the cultural life of the two regions and facilitate further strengthening cooperation between the regions.
