National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan holds Republican scientific-practical seminar "Museum in the life of the region" in Kazan

October 24, 2014, the  National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan holds the  Republican scientific-practical seminar "Museum in the life of the region" for employees of state, municipal, departmental and school museums As part of the scientific-practical seminar the annual general meeting of the Association of Museums of Tatarstan  will take place.   

At the seminar current issues related to the preparation and holding  activities in the museums,  dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory, as well as other issues of museum activity will be discussed.

The seminar will be attended by heads of state, municipal, departmental museums, museums, educational institutions, industrial enterprises; representatives of public organizations related to the search movement  of the Veterans Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, and others.

The workshop will cover:

- The first results of creating content for  online Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, dedicated to the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.;

- Topical issues of museum work at the present stage and solutions, among them - the organization and holding of the International Museum Forum in Kazan in 2015.

At the annual general meeting of the Association of Museums of Tatarstan the following questions  to be considered:

- The basis of the draft "Principles of state cultural policy";

- Summarizing the activities of Association of Museums of Tatarstan for  2013-2014.;

- The main directions of the Association of Museums of Tatarstan in 2015.
