October 17-18, Tchistopol hosts a conference on a new tourist route "Tchistopol - the city of the great Russian literature." The details of the upcoming event at a press conference spoke chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergei Ivanov, First Deputy Minister of Culture of Tatarstan Irada Aiupova, a member of the Writers' Union of Russia Nail Valeev.
According to Sergei Ivanov, the conference aims to answer the question what is necessary to be done in order for Tchistopol, having tourist and cultural potentials, has been involved in travel routes.
As part of the conference, participants would be acquainted with the city as part of a sightseeing tour, visit the Tchistopolsky state historical-architectural and literary museum-reserve, take part in a creative literary program.
By words of Sergei Ivanov, the All-Russian Conference, to be attended by 150 representatives of the executive authority the sphere of tourism and culture of the regions of the Russian Federation, representatives of museums, municipal regions of the country, educational institutions, as well as Russian and Tatarstan tour operators.
"Tchistopol is interesting from many points of view. This is a geographic center of Tatarstan. Here is a rich cultural heritage not only of Tatar but Russian culture as well. On the eve of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War Tchistopol is interesting because in this city during the war two years had quartered Union of Soviet Writers - that is, all the literary elite of the Soviet Union: Pasternak, Tsvetaeva, Twardowski and many others. So, Tchistopol became an integral part of the history of Soviet literature, "- Irada Aiupova said.
According to her, the tourists coming in Tatarstan, should see not only museums of Kazan, Bolgar and Svijazhsk, but also the unique cities of the country, such as Yelabuga and Tchistopol.
"Today, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation pays much attention to the creation of the historical and cultural centers for the development of tourism, because it is an integral part of the patriotic education of the younger generation. Tchistopol enjoys the potential to create such a historical and cultural center that could adequately represent interesting facts from the point of local history and development of literature, "- says Irada Aiupova.
