In Istanbul, a presentation of the project "Kazan - a cultural capital of the Turkic world" and International Song Contest TURKVIZIYON – 2014 took place

September 30, 2014, at the Palace Chiragan, in Istanbul a solemn presentation of the "Kazan - a cultural capital of the Turkic world" and the II International Television Competition of Turkic-speaking performers TURKVIZIYON – 2014   took place.

The event was held in one of the most luxurious hotels in the largest metropolis - "Chiragan Kempinski" - with  participation of numerous officials,  figures  of culture  and show-world, members of foreign diplomatic missions in Istanbul, representatives of the media from  different countries.

The first competition was held in the past year, its  final round was  held in the Turkish city of Eskisehir with  participation of representatives from 24 countries, 120 journalists, the competition was attended by about 300 million viewers. Baton of  Eskisehir  took Kazan -  a cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2014. So for the  guests, having come to the palace  Chiragan,  primarily, the capital of Tatarstan, where the final would  take place on 19-21 November TURKVIZIYON – 2014 was presented.

CEO of TMB TV channel Samir Kurbanov told the assembled guests  about TURKVIZION as a singing contest of Turkic-speaking countries, republics, communities and diasporas around the world its  idea  and mission,  

Secretary-General TURKSOI   Dyusen  Kaseinov,    having stressed the importance of  TURKVIZION-wide culture for   all Turkic-speaking countries, expressed  a  special gratitude to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov for the great support and  decision to hold the finals in Kazan. He also thanked the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan for the greatest measure of assistance in the implementation of this important project.

First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Aiupova wished all the organizers and participants of the contest success and expressed confidence that the final of the competition in Kazan would  open bright performing talents in music of Turkic-speaking countries.
