The Center "Hermitage-Kazan” of the Kazan Kremlin opens a new exhibition "Musical instruments of the world"

October 3,  at 16:00pm,  a new exhibition "Musical instruments of the world" opens at the Center "Hermitage-Kazan”  of  the Kazan Kremlin.

The exhibition presents more than 100 musical instruments from the collection of the People's Artist of Russia and Tatarstan, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan named after  G.Tukai   Rashid Kalimullin. Visitors and residents of the capital of Tatarstan can see a variety of exotic musical instruments from distant continents and corners of the earth.

Instruments  imported from Southeast Asia were created in the late XVIII - early XIX century. Here you can hear a sound of  absolutely fantastic Tibetan singing bowls, see the Buddhist ritual (temple) tube, plucked, bowed lutes,   the winds. Unusual kind of instruments  bring visitors into the world of culture of  China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Australia, South America and Africa.
