Menzelinsky theater goes on tour with the play "Sunnatche babai" play by G. Iskhaki

Menzelinsky Tatar State Drama Theatre named after Sabir Amutbaev goes on tour with the play "Sonnatche babai" play  by G. Iskhaki.  Director-producer Renat Ayupov.

September 22 show will take place in a music school   of Arsk town. Starting at 10:00, 11:45, 13:00. September 23 – Baltasi,  in the House of Culture. Beginning at 11:00, 13:00.

The old man Korbankolyya, whose name has long been forgotten and everyone calls him a 'Sunnatche babai "(Sunnat - image of circumcision),  has a job, passed to him by his father, giving him  respect and  meaning of life – committing  rite of circumcision. Besides, it's his  job  - an ancient, hereditary one. After the death of his beloved wife Gulyuzum, with whom he had one soul and one body, as it were, the old man, suffering from loneliness, decides to marry a second time. Clean, well-kept house turns into a dirty shed. One day, coming home, Sunnatche babai  sees his wife peeling potatoes  with a holy Pak-knife, by  which circumcision   of 70,000 Muslims  was carried out.   This was tantamount to the desecration of the Muslim world!
