Famous French writer E. E. Schmitt to visit Kazan

The Embassy of France to Russia and the French Institute in Moscow has scheduled a visit of the famous French writer Emile-E. Shmitt to Russia. The writer visited the Moscow International exhibition-fair of books, and is going to see Perm, Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan.

On September 10-11, the writer comes to Kazan, French center "Alliance Francaise Kazan" informs.

Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt is one of the most popular in the world and published among the French-speaking authors. His novels and stories have been translated into 35 languages, and plays regularly are performed at theaters in more than 40 countries. He is also the recipient of numerous theatrical and literary awards both at home and abroad. Play-by E. E. Schmitt's "Oscar and the Pink Lady" is shown on the stage of the Kazan Theatre for Youth.

In Kazan, E., E. Schmitt will participate in the project of Literary patios, a meeting will be held at the Universiade Village on September 10, at 19:00pm.
