August 25, at 10.00am, in the framework of the traditional Memorial Day of M. Jalil and his comrades, at the museum-apartment of Musa Jalil, a meeting will take place of winners of the IV All-Russian competition of readers after G. Tukai with the descendants of the poet-hero.
National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan is the custodian of the unique Moabit Notebook, written by M. Jalil on death row in the dungeons of one of the worst prisons of Nazi Germany - Moabit. Only once a year, on the Day of the original (15 February), a solemn taking notebooks for display is held, giving homage to the poet-hero. The museum has actively participated in many other events dedicated to M. Jalil and his comrades. One of them - Memorial Day.
Exactly 70 years ago, 12 o’clock, 6 minutes with an interval of three minutes by the verdict of the Imperial Court, held in February 1944, in a fascist prison Plettsenzee, a guillotine executed a group of 11 Tatars. Members of the Legion "Idel-Ural", they had created an underground organization, distributing leaflets, and established contact with the partisans, prepared uprising Legion, to connect with the Red Army. Denounced by the traitor, the undergrounders were thrown into prison, and six months later executed. Here are their names: Guinan Kurmashov, Fuat Sayfulmulyukov, Abdullah Alish, Fuat Bulatov, Musa Jalil, Garif Shaban, Akhmed Simaev, Abdullah Batalov, Zinnat Khasanov, Akhat Adnashev, Saleem Bukhari.
August 20, 2014, the RT National Museum of the organized a Memorial Day in Menzelinsk. It was in this city, after the Great Patriotic War, Musa Jalil attended a course of political workers. Graduation took place in late December 1941, he was promoted to a senior political leader. In Menzelinsky city theater, seeing off military students were organized. Citizens still remember and honor the poet-hero.
August 25, at 12.00am, a citywide rally on May 1 Square is arranged, near the monument to M. Jalil. The rally will be attended by his descendants, poets and writers, winners of the Republican Prize after Musa Jalil, in different years, the winners of the IV All-Russian competition of readers after G. Tukai and public figures.
