On the 100th anniversary of the First World War, in the reading room of the Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired a book and information exhibition "Unjustly forgotten" has been deployed.
The First World War had a huge impact on the subsequent history of mankind. The war was accompanied by enormous loss of life and became one of the most dramatic events of the XX century. Participating countries have lost more than 10 million men, about 12 million civilians, about 55 million were wounded. On those terrible events and evidence that the war left, the books and articles from periodicals presented at the exhibition narrate to the readers. The exhibition includes books by A. Zaleski, A.F. Kisilev, articles from magazines "Motherland", "Military-Historical Archives" and various newspapers. Acquainting with the exhibition will be possible until the end of September.
