Subject of safeguarding intangible cultural heritage today has become the focus of world attention, due to globalization and the transition to Information Society. According to the deputy minister, this topic requires additional attention of public authorities, scientific community and civil society.
Tatarstan is one of the flagships of the process in safeguarding intangible cultural heritage among the regions of Russia, noted in her speech Tamara Purtova.
As Yashar Huseynli explained, the intangible heritage is folklore, crafts, traditions and customs. In Azerbayzhdane six elements of intangible heritage included in the UNESCO list. Among them - Azerbaijani carpet, ashug art, Nawruz. Also, in Azerbaijan register of intangible cultural heritage, which includes about 5 thousand samples, is being made up. The project "Capital of folk art" is being implemented in the republic. Annually, folklore capital of Azerbaijan, handicraft and legendary capitals are chosen. In turn, Zoya Kyrgys said that Tuva is a region where almost fully Turkish customs and traditions have been preserved. But the intangible cultural heritage of the Republic is deprived of attention from the government, scientific community and civil society. Director of the MNC "Khoomei" for 30 years has been engaged in the research of Tuvin throat singing. Daily four-hour rehearsal is required to be involved in this art. Artists lose a lot of strength, their pectoral muscles are strained.
