«Give the joy of creation" action has been launched at the Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired

Republican Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired   has launched a charity campaign "Give the joy of creativity." Action is  aimed at supporting the creative and intellectual development of blind and visually impaired children   is being library held for the third year.  Its  motto - "Every child is gifted, most importantly - help him find himself."

In order to give blind children the joy of creativity, we need good hearts and skillful hands of adults, fun hobby in which  he  will invest part of their souls, forgetting about their ailments.

Although blind children do not see the world around them, they are actively engaged in creative work: paint, sculpt, make things, etc. Their creative work will be a great decoration for any interior and can compete with the work of the other children and sometimes even  experienced   adult  craftsmen. Presently , any creative hobby requires material costs. Goods are expensive,  and are  not always available for  families  having disabled  children, institutions in which they are engaged in creative work. It is necessary  to  support  families and institutions to acquire the necessary materials for creative activities. Within the  campaign,  library staff will collect  creative stationery: pencils, paper, cardboard, paint of  all types (conventional, stained glass, acrylic, etc.), clay (normal, sculpture, etc.), picture frames, napkins decoupage, plaster, glue, varnish, flour, salt, grains, beads, leather, different kinds of buttons, sets for embroidery, knitting, macrame, different kinds of satin ribbons, etc. You can also bring toys and hardware (new and useful for the visually impaired).
