July 8, 2014, at 16.00, at the RT Gallery of Modern Art Museum of Fine Arts, a personal exhibition of Madiyar Sharipovich Khaziev is due to open. The exhibition marks the 65th anniversary of the artist.
Madiyar Sharipovich Khaziev painter, a member of organization of Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia’s creative public organization "Union of Artists of Russia," Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan (1999), member of the Union of Artists of Russia and Tatarstan.
Since 1976, working as a teacher at the Children's Art School № 1, in Naberezhnye Chelny city.
M.S. Khaziev works in the style of ethnic avant-garde, innovative joining creative interpretation of the classical traditions of Islamic decorative art with contemporary artistic and aesthetic traditions.
Works of the artist are characterized by appeal to popular folklore, traditions colors, shapes, plastic. His paintings are featured by joyful perception of nature and man.
Paintings by M.S. Khaziev of 1980s, made in the traditional realistic manner, in the 1990s are switched to works filled with free improvisation, search for new forms of visual language. From concrete images of contemporaries and landscapes he passes to philosophical speculation about the fate of the man and his era.
A number of works the artist dedicates to the image of the mother: "Mother's Prayer" (1995), "Longing of Mother" (1996), "Mother in white kerchief" (1997), representing generalization of the notion of eternal life, motherhood, fertility. In pictorial-plastic solution of works, a decorative principle plays a dominant role, which is expressed in contrasting sound bright, saturated colors, in which the painter approached to deep understanding of national artistic traditions.
In his works Khaziev pushes universal theme of harmony between man and nature, love for one's homeland, the native home (series "From Memories of Childhood") where the artist returns to the image of a Tatar woman, mother.
In recent years, M.S. Khaziev created a series of works on historical themes, revealing not only the history of the Tatar people, but the Turkic world ("Eastern Scene" - 2005, "Khan's family" - 2000, "Kazan queen Syuyumbike" - 2002, "Attila" - 2002, etc. ). Another series focuses on the life and work of G. Tukai ("Childhood G.Tukay" - 2003, "Spring in Kyrlai" - 2005, "Youth G.Tukay" - 2003, etc.).
Since 1993, Khaziev is a regular participant of city, republican, regional, national and international exhibitions (Turkey, Kazakhstan).
The exhibition at GMA presents 97 works by the artist.
