The village Shapshi of the Vysokogorsky municipal region on May 31 hosted a final round of the National Festival of Tatar folklore "Iske - Kazan tugerek ueny." The festival was organized by Republican Center for Development of Traditional Culture , Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatartsan and ex. com. of the RT Vysokogorsky Municipal region.
"Today was a heartfelt celebration " - so said one woman villager to another, leaving the audience hall of house of culture, upon ending the festival, and it was the main evaluation as of the organizers so the participants of the festival.
The festival was attended by over 400 people - the guardians of authentic Tatar folklore from 29 municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Participants and guests were greeted by the deputy head of the Vysokogorsky region L. I. Galautdinova , deputy director of the National Centre for the Development of Traditional Culture of the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan Gali Gabdrakhmanov, Head of Shapshinskoye local settlement V. A. Islyamova.
Jury is working in two sections: Folk and dance groups in the audience hall were assessed by jury members L.A.Gareeva - Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan , director of all- Russia festival of Tatar folklore " Tugerek uen ", D.I.Umerov - folklorist, choreographer of the National Centre for the Development of traditional culture ; G.M. Makarov - Ph.D., a member of the Composers' Union of the Republic of Tatarstan, N. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory docent ; A.R. Enikeeva , Ph.D., dean of the National Arts Institute Kazan State University of Culture and Arts .
Their mastership in choreography hall presented artists of Tatar folk musical instruments – harmonics, kurai, harp kubyz, lute. Here, performers of mundzhat and bait performed likewise. A jury comprising F.I.Kislyakova - organizer of the festival, chief specialist of the National Centre for the Development of Traditional Culture RT S. M. Khabibullina - Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan State Conservatory n.a. Zhiganov E. R. Kayumova , Ph.D., lead researcher of the National Centre for the Development of Traditional Culture , a member of the Union of Russian folklore and the International Association (America) listened attentively to each artist.
Within the framework of the festival, participants and organizers of the villagers prepared a celebratory concert by efforts of the Vysokogorsky region and participants of the festival.
Festival participants were thanked by Head of the Vysokogorsky Ex. com. Department of Culture R. R. Sabirzyanov, director of Shapshinsky rural House of culture V.P. Trofimov, Head of Shapshinsky local settlement V.A. Islyamova.
Chairman of the jury of the festival - contest, Ph.D., lead scientist of the National Centre for the Development of Traditional Culture , a member of the Union of Russian folklore and the International Association (America) E.R.Kayumova also thanked all the participants of the festival for the preservation of Tatar folklore and presented diplomas to the laureates and diplomants.
To the point, the oldest participant of the festival was a 91 year old Fatima Gaynemova of Sarmanovsky region. She was awarded the title of laureate of the third degree in the category "Instrumental genre."
Some teams will take part in the National Festival in the Russian and Tatar folklore festival "Tugerek uen", which will be held in the municipal region Bolgar Spassky, July 27-30, 2014. It will be attended by folk groups from 18 subjects of the Russian Federation.
