From May 20 to 29, Kazan will host youth theater laboratory "City-art- training" by Oleg Loyevsky. The result of the laboratory will be the sketches of the performances, staged at sites distant from the usual format of a theatrical scene. Fate of each setting will be resolved by viewers. Having passed "spectator examination" sketches will be the basis of the repertoire of the future "Total theater " created on non-theater spaces of Kazan.
During the week, guest directors from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Berlin together with artists of G. Kamal theater, youth theatre and students of Kazan drama school will adapt galleries, abandoned buildings and city squares for sounding of modern drama.
Laboratory is held by the Fund for Contemporary Art " The Living City " under support of the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan .
