National Museum of the Republic of Tajikistan holds traditional ceremonial ritual "In paying tribute to the memory"

May 6,  members of the National Museum of Tatarstan holds  a traditional ceremonial ritual " In paying tribute to the memory " dedicated   to  Kazan museum employees  of  past years and  the birthday of V.M. Dyakonov - a prominent figure of the museum,  director of the State Museum of Tatarstan in 1941 - 1978 years.

This ritual has been existing  for many years and includes a visit to the graves of the museum employees,   laying flowers on Samosyrovsky  and Arsky  cemetery. Many of them played,  without exaggeration,  a huge role in  preservation and promotion of historical and cultural heritage of our country,  creation of museum exhibitions, production and study of  collections.

There are  graves in  Arsk cemetery  of famous scientists, having  worked and cooperated  with the museum over the years - N.F.Katanov, N.F.Kalinin, N.I.Vorobyov, P.M.Dulsky, E.P.Busygin, G.N. Wolfson , director of the  A.M. Gorky   museum  M.N.Elizarov  and museum staff S.A. and O.S.Khovanskikh, G.A.Mogilnikov, E.V. Kudryashova, M.A. Ilyin, O.K.Lebedeva, M.N.Antonova, N.I.Zhiganova, G.A.Milashevsky , O. Brandukov .

On Samosyrovsky  cemetery  the  employees attend burials  of  museum director V.M. Dyakonov, academic secretary E.G.  Bushkants, head of the history department K.R Sinitsyna, a known local historian and collector V. Chumakov, deputy director for science S.I. Khasanov , employees of  stock departments A.P. and I.P. Goldschmidt . T.Y. Fomina , a veteran of World War II,  N.S. Olkhovsky.

The event brings together young employees and veterans of museum business that allows you to save the memory of their colleagues, the continuity between generations of employees, to feel empathy towards the museum fraternity.
