Rustam Minnikhanov visited construction facilities and reconstruction of Tukai , Fatikh Karim, Kayum Nasyri streets in Kazan

Construction and reconstruction of objects in the historical part of Kazan (  Tukai , Fatikh Karim,  Kayum Nasyri  streets  ) have been examined today by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov .

The first object was the complex of buildings of the former brewery Petzold (str.Tukai, 97). Agreement on the restoration of buildings was   signed with ZAO "Edelweiss Group" in May 2012. Former brewery Petzold was built in the late 19th century. Since then the building  several times changed its  purpose, from the mid 20th century concern " Red East" produced  there  juice and water, then the building was empty. The last renovation was done in 1975. The investing company (ZAO "Edelweiss Group" ) suggests to place on the territory of the restored areas and  new construction site  brasserie,  art cafe , hotel  with  60-70 rooms , as well as residential buildings. Minnikhanov approved the submitted project ( designer - JSC "Kazan GiproNIIaviaprom "). Investor is willing to invest in the restoration of the object in the center of Kazan, he said, it is beneficial to the city, now this place is just a dump.

Further,  Rustam Minnikhanov examined  buildings 85 and 83 on the street Tukai  where reconstruction  was made, the investor retained facades and lowered floors of the  object within historic buildings.

Next came the project of residential buildings with office space on the street Tukai, 71 . Previously there was a two-storey wooden house. The owner (investor) must submit a  construction  project  on its place   to  interdepartmental commission. RT President recommended  sustain the project on a scale of existing buildings.

RT President  was presented also a  draft reconstruction of cultural heritage of regional importance - a monument of wooden architecture house  Sofa Bakhteev (street Tukai , 72) . This facility will be built by the investing company, which is erecting  next to the hotel on the street Tukai 70 .

Known in Kazan Yunusovskaya square  (Crossroad of  Tukai Fatikh  Karim) is restored in the style of Islamic garden, with historical names , as before, the square will consist of four parts. Sara Sadykova monument will be installed on the street S.Sadykova, in the planned  by  the Executive Committee of Kazan square   during  the  2014.

The representative of the company - the developer of the object on the street Tukai , 66 ( multi-storey residential house) said that today a conceptual design of the house has been agreed. He reminded   that the building began constructing  in 2002, and construction standards do not meet modern requirements. In the near future,  the developer is ready to begin works. Rustam  Minnikhanov proposed maximum use of the construction season. Floors of the building  were  reduced from seven to five and a half floors.

On Karim Fatikh street,  RT President and his entourage visited the house № 11,7, etc. Thus,  house  7 on the street Fatikh Karim is a monument  of  residential architecture "Kaushchi" by now  it has been  restored,  here  a private art gallery is due  to open. For  the  object of religious significance - Pilgrim House on the street Kayum Nasyri 26, Rustam    Minnikhanov offered to find another color scheme and modify the details of the facade.

Chairman of the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Society for Protection of Monuments of Art and Culture Rafael Khakimov presented a project in which he proposed to identify and fix the boundaries of the city center with giving the status of the historic village of Kazan. In turn, Rustam  Minnikhanov came with a proposal - to organize a " round table" with the involvement of experts , architects, experts and historians for a more detailed discussion of this issue.

Rustam Minnikhanov  was accompanied by Assistant to the President of RT Olesya Baltusova , Assistant to the President Airat Nurutdinov , Procurator Ildus Nafikov, Minister of Construction , Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, Minister of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tajikistan Azat Khamaev, Deputy Minister of Culture of Tatarstan Svetlana Persova , Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin,  Chief Architect Kazan Tatiana Prokofiev and others.
