March 29-30, a musical play "Gergery kiyalar" following Tufan Minnullin’s play premiered in Ufa State Tatar Theatre Nur

In Ufa State Tatar Theatre "Nur",  March 29-30,  a musical play  by Tufan Minullin "Gergery Kiyalar"  was premiered. Today, April 5, Nur actors show  comedy  already with the second cast.

One of the acknowledged masters of Tatar drama Tufan Minnullin embodied in his play customs, way of life and linguistic distinctiveness of  baptized Tatars.

Action of the  comedy revolves around a family Gergery. Head of the family is looking for a decent pair for his daughter Urina. Remembering the failed marriage of  older daughters, who , in due  time, ignoring national traditions have  not found family happiness, Gergery is throwing all their forces to conduct a flawless wedding for the younger daughter. Blind adherence to tradition and stubbornness of Gergery, though seem absurd, help choose a worthy groom. Wooers  of  girl  are more than enough, but who would be worthy of her marriage?

A colorful action scenes of  matchmaking, pictures of ransom for the bride, folk songs and dances   will unfold before the spectators. Premiere is remarkable by the fact that during the performance a live music will sound  performed by musical ensemble under direction of  Gulnara Naziullina , the press service of the theater informs.

The comedy was staged  by  chief director, Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan  Albert  Safiullin. Together with the production group, acknowledged masters of stage and young artists   are working  over on the performance. "I love this play. I literally fell in love with the show when it had been played by the actors G. Kamal Tatar Academic Theatre. I play here  the  role  of  Audaki grandmother, which I liked ,” said People's Artist of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan Savia Siraeva.
