By international Day of children's books, the G.Tukai Literary Museum to hold a soiree

April 2, at 14.00, a literary and poetic evening dedicated to the International Children's Book Day will be held at the G. Tukai Literary Museum.

G.Tukai Literary Museum is implementing diverse cultural and educational activities, bringing up children's interest in reading: quizzes, literary and musical evenings, meetings with children's writers , presentations of exhibitions, books and media products, workshops, museum and educational classes, museum holidays involving   the  heroes of G.Tukai  works.

Gabdulla Tukai  for  his short life managed to write a lot of works for children. Tales "Shurale", "ater", "Tale of the Goat and Sheep ,"the poem" Mother Tongue", "Happy Child" enveloped in the love of folk art, a desire to see Tatar children happy, competent and free. He compiled  Tatar textbooks for schools, translated the works of Russian classics - Pushkin, Krylov for Tatar children .

Children's books play a very important role in the development of the child: help him master the world, shape the character, to realize the distinction between   good and  evil. However, children's books did  not always exist , the heyday of children's books came in the XIX century. One of the greatest storytellers of all time was  recognized Hans Christian Andersen, who was born on April 2. That is why the International Day of Children's Book, it was decided to celebrate   on  this day.

The event will bring together writers, poets: chair of the section  of  children's Literature Writers' Union of Tatarstan, Tatar chief editor of a publishing house, a laureate of Musa Jalil award Lenar Shaekhov, poet, literary editor of  Yalkyn magazine Fairuza Muslimova, scientist, writer Rinat Nurullin. They will share their views on the state of modern children's books, read their works.  Viewers will have the opportunity to purchase books autographed by the authors.
