A ballet "The Golden Horde" staged at the M.Jalil Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre was recognized "The event of the year ." This became known in ceremony of the IV Republican Theatre Award " Tantana(Tiumph)." The jury decided to award the main nomination "The event of the Year" to the theater.
A world premiere took place in September 2013. The work on the show has been conducted by order of the theater for more than three years – libretto was created by a national poet of Tatarstan Renat Haris, the music was written by composer Rezeda Akhiyarova , who also composed staged in 2006 at the theater, the opera " Poet's Love. " Ballet-master of a scale production was a famous Russian choreographer Georgi Kovtun , familiar to Kazan audiences for productions of " Peer Gynt ", "The Legend of Yusuf" , "Spartacus", "Carmen" . The sets and costumes were made by Ukrainian artists Andrew Zlobin and Anna Ipatieva.
The new ballet reflected last years of state Golden Horde and the period of its decay. "This is not a political or historical drama. This artistic view of a great story " - the authors emphasize. The award "Tantana" from the hands of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan A.M.Sibagatullin received deputy director G.M. Pervin and pedagogue - tutor, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan L.I.Mukhametgaleeva. In her speech, Louisa Mukhametgaleeva noted that the performance of "The Golden Horde" turned shrill and powerful because everyone involved in the creation of the ballet, beginning and ending with the authors, artists and pedagogues worked in full force and put into play a piece of themselves. Louisa Ildusovna thanked the jury and public appreciation for the new production.
In the near future the ballet "The Golden Horde" will be shown in May: the performance is included in the program of XXVII International Festival named after Rudolf Nuriev.
