Eskishehir - Cultural Capital of the Turkic world in 2013 gave the honorary title to Kazan

March 21, 2014 Eskisehir - Cultural Capital of the Turkic world in 2013 on a magnificent ceremony gave the honorary title to the  capital of Tatarstan, Kazan city.

The handover ceremony was held with the support of the Governorship of Eskişehir and TURKSOI in a gym Anadolu University. The event was filled with bright emotions and impressions , attended by Vice - Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of prof. Doc. Emrullah Ishler , Minister of National Education of Turkey prof. Doc. Nabi Avci , Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Sibagatullin, Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov, Ambassador of Macedonia Goran Taskovski , Kazakh Ambassador Zhanseit Tuymebayev , general secretary of the National Security Council Muammer Türker TR , TRT Director General Ibrahim Sakhin, as well as other guests, who came from 30 different countries of the Turkic world .

Colorful program began with a performance by a military band Mehter Turkish national anthems,  ceremony and procession with flags of the Turkic world. Then, a prayer Nowruz  was read out  in memory of    Dede Korkut.
