Performance "Shurale" takes place on stage M. Jalil of TASTB&O

March 15, 2014, on the stage of the M. Jalil Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre a performance "Shurale" (choreography by Leonid Yakobson in edition by Vladimir Yakovlev) will take place.

Performance is  dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Tatar composer Farid Yarullin (1914-1943 ), author of the music for the ballet .

The ballet "Shurale", which premiered March 12, 1945, became one of the most brilliant national  performances of the  Soviet era. "Shurale" received all-Union and international recognitio: it has been staged by almost all the major theaters of opera and ballet of the USSR (Moscow, Leningrad, Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa, Lvov, Riga, Tallinn, Tashkent, Almaty, Dushanbe, Ufa, Chelyabinsk , Saratov, bitter, Ulan-Ude, Novosibirsk), as well as theaters of foreign countries - Bulgaria, Romania, Czechoslovakia, Poland, East Germany, Albania, Mongolia, Mexico. "Shurale" does not descend from the stage of the M.Jalil Tatar theater,   rightly regarding unmatched vertex of the National Ballet.

Farid Yarullin failed to see his creation on stage, 29-year-old composer, Lieutenant of the Red Army, died October 17, 1943 in the battle for Belarus.
