Kazan will host the Regional Competition of French song «FESTICHANT»

Annually, the Center of French language and culture "Alliance Francaise - Kazan" RT, supported by the Embassy of France in Russia organizes Regional Competition of French song «FESTICHANT». Competition is a selection stage, the winner of the competition will take part in the Federal Festival "Festi'Art 2014" and will be able to compete for the grand prize - a trip to France.

The contest invites students of secondary and higher education, aged 16 to 25 years old, studying French. Contest participants sing songs of  Francophone authors and performers , as well as their  own songs in French. The competition will be attended by students and students from Kazan, Yoshkar-Ola, Cheboksary, Naberezhnye Chelny.

This year's competition presents  two categories of participants:

category "Solo" (18-25 years)

category "Duet" (18-25 years)

The medalists (1, 2, 3 place)  are to be determined  in each category. Among the participants, who took first place (according to the results of points) the winner of the regional phase  will be announced, who  takes  part in the Federal Festival "Festi'Art 2014" in Togliatti, April  3-4, 2014.

Regional competition of French song «FESTICHANT» - 2014  is to be  held on March 12,  at the Kazan State University of Culture and Arts ( KSUCA ) on  Orenburgsky  trakt 3. The competition starts  at 3. PM.
