Future exposure of A.M. Gorky Literary- Memorial Museum to be discussed at a roundtable at the RT National Museum

February 13,  at 3 pm,   at  the  Tatarstan  National Museum,   a roundtable discussion   to be held on subject  of the  future exposure of   Literary- Memorial Museum after A.M. Gorky.

In 2008,  the exhibition was dismantled due to an abnormal condition of the building, in 2012, its reconstruction commenced   and continues to the present time.

All these years a collective  has been  working  on future exposures and came to a single  point of view: the museum , as before, must consist of two sections of the exhibition, representing biography and artistic heritage of Gorky and Shaliapin. Scientific idea has found support among  the  group of artists "Smena" under the leadership of Kazan artist Ilgizar Khasanov.

The outcome of the creative duo of the museum staff and artists became a  draft  exposure, which organically combines innovation with the structural rules of classical exposition,  contains original and quite " recognizable " features. The  exposure is based on the autobiographies of famous compatriots , images of heroes of literary and musical works , and of course, on rich funds of the  museum.

The authors sought to make a "living" museum , filled with the sound of voices, paging books,  open acquaintance with the works of the great writer and the  great artiste. According to the authors, the museum should become a center of attraction for creative young people and  generations for whom the names of Gorky and Shaliapin are classics. Certainly, the primary role in the future will belong to the museum.

Presentation of the project will  take place on the birthday of F.I. Shaliapin - a landmark date for the  A.M. Gorky museum.
