Belgians saw "Swan Lake" staged by Tatar Opera and Ballet Theatre

Past  days off, for the ballet troupe of the M. Jalil   Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, which   since  November  is being   on the European tour,  were  held in Belgium. The performance  Swan Lake  adored by generations and eras  took place  on January 11 on the stage of  "De Meent ",   Alsemberg town that between Brussels and Waterloo.

Orchestra of 45 musicians led by conductor Nurzhan Baybusinov fascinated hall by  Tchaikovsky's music. To the point,, it is  the very  school at this cultural center where   one of the descendants of  brother of  Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, little Leo Shorohov goes.

According to the director of the center «De Meent» Tina Wang Bokstal,  annually inviting  TASTO&B on tour, tickets for this performance  had been  sold in June 2013, as soon as a poster appeared . Next season, in  autumn of 2014,   already a playbill of  "Giselle" by A. Adan hangs.

According to the tradition of Belgian Cultural Center , the audience after the presentation is not immediately leaving for  their homes,  but remain in the cafe to share  out  emotions. The big surprise  for them  was at this time:  the ceiling of the hall was draped  by   three colors of the flag of Tatarstan - a kind of wish from   Belgians,  a long collaboration with  Tatarstaners.

The artists  were congratulated on a successful start of  the new year   by  union members "Tatars in Belgium ", who handed bouquets and famous Belgian chocolate. Each performance by  TASTO&B  for compatriots becomes an  important support in enhancing the spiritual and moral heritage, national and cultural education.
