December 12, a gala concert of the International TV Competition for Young Performers "Tatar mony" starts

December 12, at 19.00, a  gala concert of the International TV  Competition for Young Performers "Tatar mony"  starts  in the G. Kamal  Tatar State Academic Theater.

Since 2008 an International TV contest of young performers "Tatar mony"   is being  held. The organizers are the  RT Ministry of Culture, Support Fund for Cultural Development under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Board of the World Congress of Tatars, JSC  TV Republican Channel   "New Age", Variety Theatre "Salavat".

Competition is of great interest  among the Tatars living in the regions of Russia and CIS countries. Considerable interest  in  national art  is exposed  by   Tatar Diaspora. This year,  qualifying rounds of the competition have  been  held in Orenburg, Samara oblast, Ulyanovsk, Novosibirsk and in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Every year,  geography competition becomes wider. The competition is attended by young artists from 20 regions of the Russian Federation - Saint Petersburg, Mari - El, Ulyanovsk, Chuvashia, Republic of Bashkortostan, Samara oblast, Orenburg oblast , Tyumen ( Khanty) , Nefteyugansk, Mordovia,  China, Kazakhstan, Turkey .

More than 1000 applications from the  both solo artists,  vocal and instrumental ensembles have been accepted to the first round. Total number of participants is more than 1,500 people.
