The permanent exhibition dedicated to the famous dancer Rudolf Nureyev (1938-1993) opened at the Museum of theatrical costumes  located in the French town of Moulins . For the exhibition, personal belongings of the great dancer,  pictures and videos dedicated to his life  were selected. Visitors can see some pictures and statues that once adorned his apartment in Paris and New York.

The exhibition, formed from the collections of the Rudolf Nureyev Foundation  and  is deployed over an area of ​​300 square meters. There are ballet costumes , which appeared Nureyev himself , and his partner, Sylvie Guillem and Noella Pontois. Among them - the famous silver- gold jacket of «The Nutcracker».  In other sections detailing the creative path of the Russian dancer . particular attention is paid to the innovations he introduced in ballet choreography and performances in the decoration .

Museum exposition tells about the initial stages of the path of the future of ballet genius - his childhood, studying in Leningrad Choreographic School, the first performances as a soloist of the Kirov Ballet Theatre. In one of the halls reproduced situation of his Paris apartment, including luxury carpets and expensive paintings, ITAR -TASS reported.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by Chairman of the Kazan Branch of the Professional Union of Artists of the CIS  Lada Ayudah and artist Tatiana Tench.
