Opening of All-Russia festival of folk creativity «Together we are Russia» took place in Cheboksary

On June 12, on Day of Russia, in Cheboksary city of the Chuvash   Republic, the opening of all-Russia festival of folk creativity «We all are Russia»   took place. The  festival  began on the Red square, on a bank of the river Volga. Tatarstan was represented on the festival opening  by harmonists,  brothers Akhunovs. And then in a Chuvash drama theatre  a contest review of  the programs, prepared by   the Republics Chuvashiya, Tatarstan, Mari El, Kirov oblast was held. The review of programs opened Director of State Russian House of folk creativity    Т.V.Purtova. Among the jury members, chief of section of folk creativity of RF Ministry of culture G.G. Furmanova  was present   

Creative collectives  presented before jury and audience  a music-choreographic composition  «Traditions of Bulgar are century long». The program has been prepared by  director     Gareeva L.А. on the basis of ensembles of music, dance, folklore and folk dance. Under laud applauds and numerous shouts  «Bravo!»from spectators  –  the ensemble of ancient music «Tarkhan» (Kazan),  the folk choreographic ensemble  «Shayan» (Mendeleevsk), the  ensemble of song «Janyshym»  (Aznakaevo),  the folk ensemble «Umyrzyia» (Chermshany), harmonists  – brothers Adel and and Almaz Akhunovs, a performer on Tatar folk instruments Ilmir Yamalov performed on the scene. Performance of the groups was accompanied  by video  photos of Kazan, festive  «Sabantui » and others.

The jury will examine still  14 contest programs. The final results will be summed up on June  14, at a Gala –concert of the festival.
