Dear  workers of libraries!

Accept sincere congratulations on festive   – All-Russia  Day of libraries!

May - a month in which much is connected with a book, opening the way to light of reason and the good: in May, Day of Slavonic  writing and culture, the world day of freedom of press and all-Russia day of libraries is marked.

Statement that  a Book is a true source of knowledge never becomes to be effective. Thanks to libraries, invaluable data about history of mankind have reached present days, experience of many generations has been preserved.

We are proud by achievements of our libraries and by that significant role they are playing in cultural, intellectual and spiritual life of our republic.     Beginning  from  2009, a long-term development program is being implemented, informatization of the sector is being actively put into practice.  RT National electronic library is being developed,  more and more rare and valuable books become available via  Internet. It is important that new forms of obtaining knowledge enable to  enculturate the youth to reading, This gives assurance that the libraries will remain centers of education and cultural gravity. 

Dear library employees!

By your work  you preserve and multiply cultural traditions of our republic for the sake of reviving spirituality, humanism, the good and mutual understanding.

On this professional festive  I would like to express you my big acknowledgement for industry, permanent creative search, high professionalism, which serves as guarantee of growth of intellectual and cultural potential of our republic.

On this festive day I congratulate all those, who love book, I wish inspiration, inexhaustible creative potential, strong health, happiness  and prosperity!
