Festival marathon of Turkish films keeps going in Kazan

On May  22,  within the Days of Turkish cinema, a show of film «Not those  beads» took place in a cinema MIR. After showing, a filmmaker Fazyl Dzhokshun spoke with spectators and  worshippers of his creation.

Fazyl   Dzhokshun   for his  first  full-length film  «Not those beads» was dignified award as  best  director at the  XVI Cinema  Festival  “Altyn Koza”  and at the  38th  Rotterdam cinema festival along with more three films bestowed   the highest award  VPRO ‘Tiger’.

We remind that a marathon started on May  18 and is to last until May 24. The festival has been arranged at the initiative of Turkish Ministry of culture, General Consulate of Turkey in Kazan  and is held under support of RT ministry of culture and  «Tatarkino».

The program of the festival is unique and includes films touching all aspects of human life. The Kazan audience was presented  modern Turkish films  - «Autumn», «Mommo monster», «When I say zero», «Girl in red kerchief», «My father and my son», «Do not go mad», «White angel».
