Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova: "If our children play traditional games, we will tear them away from gadgets and return them to the real world"
Today, on the International Children's Day, thematic events are held in cultural institutions.
The morning of June 1 began with the festival of traditional games of the peoples of Tatarstan "UenFest" on the territory of the Kazan Kremlin.
"UenFest" is a large-scale project designed to introduce children to live, not virtual communication with the help of folk culture.
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilsur Khadiullin got acquainted with the performance of amateur children's groups.
Irada Ayupova also took part in the awarding ceremony for the finalists of the I Republican Festival "UenFest", the IX Republican Festival of Children's Folklore Groups "Moly Tamchy" - "Ringing drops", the XI All-Russian competition of creative works "Suykemle Shurale" - "Charming Shurale".
“If our children play traditional games, we will tear them away from their gadgets and return them to the real world. Children who took part in our games saw that the virtual world is just a reflection of our bright and full of emotions world, ”said Irada Ayupova.
The Kazan Kremlin also hosted the "We love the Kremlin!" Scientific, educational, entertaining, interactive thematic platforms with contests, games, funny scientific experiments, quizzes, master classes were placed throughout the Kremlin: Children's literary courtyard, Workshop of young talents, Science show from the laboratory of entertaining science "Naturally, Science!", Green Planet, Arts Square.
In continuation of the festive day, the Children's Center "Ekiyat" hosted an annual solemn event for the winners of the republican project "Cultural Diary of a Schoolchild" with the participation of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova and the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Alsu Asadullina.
President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov also conducted a tour of the Kremlin for the project winners today.
The project has been implemented for 7 years. In the 2015-2016 academic year, the project covered 160 thousand primary school students of the republic (grades 1-4), the number of project participants in the 2018-2019 academic year was 185 thousand schoolchildren, then this year the coverage was over 200 thousand people.
