The Victory Museum has launched the International Video Competition "Rarities of the Great Victory"

The Victory Museum has launched the International Video Competition "Rarities of the Great Victory", timed to coincide with the 76th anniversary of the end of World War II.

The competition is held within the framework of the International Project "Victory Territory" in cooperation with the All-Russian public organization of war and labor veterans (pensioners) with the support of the Russian information agency "Pobeda RF" and the Online TV Museum of Victory.

The aim of the competition is to preserve and popularize museum collections associated with the military and labor feat of the Soviet people during the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War.

The museums will present stories about exhibits from their collections related to the history and events of military history of the mid-20th century.

Museums located all over the world can participate.The competition is held in four stages:

Stage 1 “Acceptance of Works” - from May 5 to August 5, 2021;

Stage 2 "Online voting" on the official website of the Victory Museum - from September 3 to October 15, 2021;

Stage 3 “Summing up. Announcement of the winners "- October 20, 2021.

Stage 4 "Solemn awarding" - the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners is planned to be held within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum (St. Petersburg, November 2021).

To participate, you must fill out an application and send it to the organizer's email address by attaching a video file with a story about one specific rarity.
