II-d International scientific-practical conference «Cultural heritage in XXI century: preservation, use, popularization» will take place in Kazan

April 3,  2013,  at 10.00 p.m.,  the Second  International scientific-practical conference «Cultural heritage in XXI century: preservation, use, popularization»  will take place in Kazan state architecture-construction university.

Aide to RT President Tatyana Larionova, aide to RT President Olesya Baltusova, deputy RT minister of culture Svetlana Persova, counselor RAASN, rector of KazSACU Rashit Nizamov and others  will take part in a work of the conference.

Within a framework of the conference  the problems of preservation, use and popularization of historic-cultural  landscape on example «Russian Switzerland» located in center of Kazan will be considered. Aggressive   near park construction, considerable reduction and general degradation of park territories – all these  tendencies are typical for many city recreation zones.

The conference is held under the aegis of RT Government, RT Ministry of culture.

Goals of the conference: conceptualization  of value of historic-cultural landscape in  XXI century; determining role of historic-cultural landscape in development of spiritual and material potential of the city; working out of ways of popularization  of objects of  historic-cultural landscape: forming social order; creation of volunteer groups on development and implementation of the  offered during the Conference and Workshop  ideas and projects.

In  context of school of  young school the participants   can:

- take part in  discussing works presented  by project  groups, in  the frames of Workshop «Historic park today» (on example of park  «Russian Switzerland» in Kazan), supervisor: Mukhitov  R. K.;

- to attend  public lectures to b delivered by  invited experts: Yurgen Wetzel,  professor of landscape architecture, Berlin  Technical University; Natalia Kunitzkaya, architecture, project-research work, Berlin, free-lance teacher of the program  «Design of environment», faculty of art , State university of Sankt-Petersburg; Yulia  Granitza, head of chair of garden-park construction,  botany and dendrology of the Volga  state technological university; Ivan Chechotт, candidate of art critics, docent of chair of interdisciplinary  researches and practices, faculty of Free arts and sciences, Sankt-Petersburg state university.

- to visit pedestrian excursions in Kazan;

- to visit opening of exhibition of «Gardens and parks –the past and present»;

- to attend presentation of exhibition «Art of restoration» (Restoration company  Sansone, Florence).
