Center of development of traditional culture holds the First Republican festival of children folklore collectives «Monly tamchy»

In accordance with a plan of  main events of RT Ministry of culture for 2013,  the Republican  center of  development of traditional culture   holds the First  Republican festival of children folklore  collectives   «Monly tamchy» («Silver dripping»).

The aim of the festival  – preserving succession of folk traditions, education in rising generation  of respect to culture, language, customs and traditions of peoples  living in territory of  the republic, promotion of progressing folklore   movement among children  and teenagers, exchange of creative experience between the collectives, maintaining creative contacts.

The first stage of the festival  took place in January-March in municipal regions and towns.  The II stage  of the festival continued  until March 15, 2013.  The Republican organizing committee has received, on two nominations (folklore collective; ensembles of folk instruments),  50 applications from   22 regions of the republic.

26 collectives   from towns and regions have been sorted out for participation in  the  III conclusive stage of the festival. The program of the festival presents customs, games, traditions, rites of Tatar, Russian, Mari, Mordva, Udmurt, Chuvash peoples whose cultures  are interrelated by multi-century  history of joint living side by side  in territory of Tatasrtan

The festival program will be held in territory of Kukmor municipal region, The choice of this region is not by chance.  The traditions of interethnic consent between   representatives of various nations have been laid since last in the Kukmor region.  Here,  big republican festives  are held like  «Gyron bydton», «Semyk», facilitating to preserving original culture of peoples of Tatarstanа. Talents а of the Kukmor region are well-known in the republic, they  not once took prizes at the prestigious contests and festivals.

The gifts have been prepared   by festival organizers  for  all the participants of the festival – colorful booklets about culture of peoples of Tatarstan, signs and bags.

The organizers  hope to include this festival in number of traditional children events during spring vacations.

RT Deputy minister of culture G.A. Nigmatullina, director of RT House of peoples friendship I.I. Sharipov will arrive to welcome  the participants of the festival.
