Literature soiree «When my turn comes… » will be held in Memorial museum of B. Pasternak in Tchistopol town

March 29, at  2.p.m. a literature soiree «When my turn comes …», dedicated to 105th anniversary of talented poet and translator Maria Sergeevna Petrovykh   will be held  in   B. Pasternak Memorial museum,  in Tchistopol town.

The program of literature soiree, which name quotes a line  of M. Petrovykh verse, -  a story about this wonderful woman,  her poems and music works.  

In  1941-1943 years, . Maria Petrovykh among many figures of literature and art was evacuated to Tchistopol. She liked this provincial  town on the Kama, devoted poems to it and considered staying in Tchistopol  an epoch of her life. In Tchistopol, M. Petrovykh creates number of verses,  is busy with translation activity, performs at the literature soirees, cooperates  in the newspaper  «Prikamskaya communa» and at the radio. In Tchistopol, M. Petrovykh   was adopted to the Union of Soviet writers.  А.Akhmatova,   B. Pasternak, К. Fedin, А Tarkovsky  and many others highly appreciated  M. Petrovykh as talented and original poetess.
