The festival "Denis Matsuev with friends" will be held in Kazan for the eighth time

Musical Everest of Alexander Sladkovsky and Denis Matsuev on December 24 and 25 on the stage of the G. S. Saydashev, concerts will be held within the framework of the VIII music festival "Denis Matsuev with Friends" - a joint project of  artistic director and chief conductor of the State Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan, People's Artist of Russia and Tatarstan Alexander Sladkovsky and the outstanding pianist, People's Artist of Russia Denis Matsuev.

The festival concerts will feature works by Rachmaninoff, Liszt and Chopin. Since 2012, the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan under the direction of Alexander Sladkovsky has been holding one of its largest events. The music festival "Denis Matsuev with Friends" is held in our republic with constant success and is considered one of the cultural brands of Tatarstan.

The program of the first concert of the festival, on December 24, will feature F. Chopin's Ballad No. 4 and

Sonata in B minor by F. Liszt. In the second part, the famous Russian pianist Denis Matsuev and

Maestro Sladkovsky will delight the audience and for the first time together will perform the Second Concerto for Piano and Chopin's Orchestra.

On December 25, the Kazan audience will hear the Second Concerto for Piano and Orchestra and Symphony No. 2 by S. Rachmaninoff.

The host of the two evenings is a Russian actor and a permanent host of the main domestic musical events in the field of classical music, Yulian Makarov.

 

On December 23, eminent teachers of the New Names Charitable Foundation named after Ivetta Voronova, whose task is to create effective support for young talents in the field of culture and art, will hold master classes for pupils of one of the oldest musical educational institutions in Russia - the Kazan Musical College named after I. V.Aukhadeev.
