From 5 to 15 December 2020, the XIII International Festival of Arts "Philharmoniada" will be held at the Tatar State Philharmonic named after GabdullaTukai.
The Philharmoniada International Arts Festival was first organized in 2008. The period is annually from 5 to 15 December. The one-of-a-kind Kazan festival "Philharmoniada" is a 10-day concert marathon covering all genres of performing arts: from classical music to jazz, from conversational to dance performance, from folklore to pop, is one of the largest, iconic, popular and covered cultural events of the Republic of Tatarstan. Over the 12-year history, about 3000 artists took part in it, including IosifKobzon, Lev Leshchenko, Gennady Khazanov, Vladimir Zeldin, Dmitry Nazarov, DaniilShtoda, Olga Pudova, Alexander F. Sklyar and M. Piganov's "Trombone Show", FarukhRuzimatov, IlyaReznik, DaniilSpivakovsky, Vladimir Vinokur, Robert Yuldashev and the Kuraisygroup, the Omsk Academic Symphony Orchestra, the Ural Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Musica Viva chamber orchestra conducted by Alexander Rudin, the Vivaldi State Academic Chamber Orchestra under directed by Svetlana Bezrodnaya, State Violin Ensemble of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), State Volga Russian Folk Choir named after P. Miloslavova, Don Cossack Song and Dance Ensemble, Folk Dance Ensemble named after F. Gaskarova, Harlem Show (USA), Jordan's Drive (Denmark), Indialucia Ensemble (India-Poland-Spain), Seamus Blake (USA), FabrizioBosso (Italy), Tae-Hyun Kim (South Korea), TemurKvitelashvili (Georgia) and many others.
The 13th festival will open on December 5 with a wonderful jazz program featuring two famous Russian bands - Big Band BGF from Ufa under the direction of Oleg Kasimov and the Tatarstan Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Sergei Vasiliev. Special guests are SiyavushShermatov (vocals), PolinaKobets (vocals) and IlnurKhairullin (kurai).
On December 6, the Musical Theater "Petersburg Operetta" by S. Shalagin will play the musical fairy tale "The Snow Queen" for young spectators in the afternoon, in the evening the theater will present the musical by G. Gladkov based on the play by E. Schwartz "An Ordinary Miracle".
On December 7, the festival program will be continued by the famous artist Denis Mazhukov, famous for his unsurpassed mastery of classical boogie - woogie, rhythm and blues and rock and roll.
On December 9, the classic will triumph on the stage of the Philharmonic - the Ballet Theater. P.I. Tchaikovsky will present the classic masterpiece of PyotrIlyich Tchaikovsky - "Swan Lake".
On December 10, within the framework of the Philharmonia, the lines of the play Don Quixote by Bulgakov, written based on the cult novel by Cervantes in the author's study by PavelLyubimtsev, will sound from the stage of the Tatar Philharmonic. The musical canvas of the cycle is the masterpieces of the classics in original arrangements specially prepared by the soloist of the Russian Rhapsody ensemble PavelLukoyanov.
The performance of the Russian pianist and composer, winner of the International Competition for Young Musicians "Eurovision Young Musicians -2018" Ivan Bessonov (piano / Moscow) at the festival will take place on 12 December.
One of the numerous theatrical musical and educational programs of the State Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Tatarstan under the direction of Anatoly Shutikov, prepared for preschoolers and elementary school students, "Musical Piggy Bank", was also included in the festival program. It will take place on December 13 at 11 o'clock.
On December 14, a dance couple (Dmitry Kuznetsov, Olga Nikolaeva) will perform the most sensual dance of the 20th century - Argentine tango - to nostalgic melodies and fiery rhythms performed by the magnificent Russian ensemble Solo Tango Orquesta.
December 15 - closing of the XIII International Festival of Arts "Philharmonia". The State Academic Russian Folk Ensemble "Russia" named after L. G. Zykina, the State Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the Republic of Tatarstan and Irina Krutova (vocals, Moscow) will present the program "The Volga River Flows ..."
