Kazan Youth Theater became one of the winners of the grant competition of the forum-festival “Special Look. Regions "

The project of the verbatim play "Into the Light" of the Teatralka creative studio for teenagers of the Kazan Youth Theater became one of the winners of the grant competition "To Be Continued" of the Forum-Festival of Social Theater "Special Look. Regions ". The head and teacher-director of the studio is the teacher-organizer of the theater Daria Khurtina.

5 projects from Kazan, Izhevsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Naberezhnye Chelny, Glazov became finalists of the competition. In total, over 30 projects of creative teams and organizations from the Volga Federal District took part in the contest. The experts of the competition drew up a short list of applications, the applicants of which were invited to defend their projects in person. It took place on November 19, 2020.

 

The play-verbatim "Into the Light" will receive financial support for the implementation of the project in the amount of 100 thousand rubles, as well as expert support. The organizers of all projects that made it to the final will be invited to participate in the educational program of the Forum-Festival “Special Look. Regions ", which is scheduled for the spring of 2021.

 

The textual basis of the verbatim performance "Into the Light" will include small essays on a wide variety of topics, which will be written by the students in a year. In the essay, they recall the most beautiful and terrible moments of the past, and also answer the questions "who am I today?", "What do I want?", "An event that became a turning point in my life." Modern adolescents have very limited social experience and also lack the knowledge and skills necessary to integrate into society. This prevents them from resisting temptations and difficulties. This work provides an opportunity to speak to those who are still effectively deprived of the right to vote, and to be heard by a society that needs change.
