National Artist of Tatarstan Albina Shagimuratova makes debut on the stage of Chicago Lyric-opera

Today, at February 25,  2013, a debut of national artist of Tatarstan, a soloist of M. Jalil  Tatar academic state theatre of opera and ballet Albina Shagimuratova will take place on the scene of Chicago Lyric-opera. One of the most successful and demanded on the world stage Russian singers performs a role of Jilda in a premiere  performance «Rigoletto».

A new production on the scene of the largest theatres of the USA  has been  implemented   by  director Anthony Freud  and director Sir Andrew Davis;  creative consultant of the performance became the American lady-singer  Rene Flemming.

 «Scenography of the new  «Rigoletto» is  made in a  traditional style, - told Albina Shagimuratova on the eve of the premiere. – but the production  itself is unusual. The director stages a real story of Rigoletto that  could  happen in our days. If to say about my part, then I, move a lot on the scene , there also; exceptional episodes, for instance,  I am singing lying on the back».
