The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov attended the solemn event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Republican Foundation for the Revival of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the Republic of Tatarstan "Yanarysh - Revival".
The event took place at the Piramida recreation center.
Rustam Minnikhanov presented the staff of the non-profit organization "Republican Foundation for the Revival of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the Republic of Tatarstan" with the Gratitude of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for the great contribution to the preservation and restoration of objects of the historical and cultural heritage of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The celebration is attended by the State Councilor of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin, Deputy Director of the Department of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO Grigory Ordzhonikidze, First Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing Utilities of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin and others. Participants, benefactors, investors of all projects, members of the Board of Trustees, Administrative, Expert Councils of the Fund, heads of federal and republican departments, heads of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc. are also invited.
The State Counselor of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Republican Renaissance Fund, UNESCO Special Envoy for Intercultural Dialogue Mintimer Shaimiev addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, in turn, emphasized that thanks to the Renaissance Foundation, the republic has two unique world-scale objects - the ancient Bolgar and the island-city of Sviyazhsk.
Rustam Minnikhanov recalled that when Mintimer Shaimiev completed his work as the first president of Tatarstan, he expressed his intention to take on these two objects, and this initiative was supported by Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. “For many years the fund has received both federal and republican support,” said Rustam Minnikhanov. - But the main part of expenses and work was done by our sponsors - large companies, as well as business representatives, our Russian and foreign partners. This is a huge work of the whole team led by Mintimer Shaimiev. His authority, his vision of projects bring together scientists, entrepreneurs, builders. During the activity of the Vozrozhdenie Foundation, we have mastered such unique competencies that were not available before. It is a huge wealth to have such partners. "
“Mintimer Shaimiev did not stop there - he is also concerned about other issues, this is the development of modern youth, the education of children,” said Rustam Minnikhanov. - Confirmation of this is the project to create a network of polylingual educational complexes "Adymnar" in the republic. And the project is already being implemented! We can say that the work of the fund is multifaceted. "
The next generations will evaluate us in two directions - this is our attitude to history and how we care about the future, about our children and their education, Rustam Minnikhanov said. The Renaissance Foundation is working in these areas now.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, today the fund's experience is interesting to many regions, as well as to representatives of federal structures.

In February 2010, by the Decree of the President of Tatarstan, the Republican Fund for the Revival of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the Republic of Tatarstan was created - the Renaissance Fund (Tatarstan Respubliki Tarihi һәm Maduni wasted by the Republic of Funds - Yagarysh funds)
Its main task was to restore the historical heritage in the ancient city of Bolgar and the island-town of Sviyazhsk. On March 20, 2010 at the presentation of the Fund, the First President of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Fund Mintimer Shaimiev presented the project to the general public.
On December 9, 2010, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan approved a comprehensive project "Cultural heritage - the ancient Bolgar and the island city of Sviyazhsk".
In the spring of 2010, with the assistance of the Renaissance Foundation, large-scale restoration, construction and archaeological work began in both Bolgar and Sviyazhsk. An International Expert Council was created for competent scientific support of the project. A large team of specialists worked on the restoration of historical monuments - scientists, historians, archaeologists, architects, builders, restorers, artists, and designers.
In Bolgar and Sviyazhsk, simultaneously with the restoration of monuments, the construction of tourist infrastructure began.
In Bolgar, according to UNESCO rules, the monuments of the Bulgarian settlement of the XIII and XIV centuries were restored - the Cathedral Mosque, the Northern and Eastern mausoleums, the Black and White Chambers, the Small Minaret and much more. On June 23, 2014, the Bulgarian Historical and Archaeological Complex was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In Sviyazhsk, the Assumption Cathedral, the Cathedral of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the fraternal corps, the Trinity Church and other historical monuments of the island-city were restored. On July 9, 2017, the Assumption Cathedral and the monastery of the island town of Sviyazhsk were also included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In 2016, by the Decree of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the construction of the Bulgarian Islamic Academy and the reconstruction of the Cathedral of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God began. Taking into account the accumulated experience, the implementation of these projects was entrusted to the Republican Fund "Renaissance".
At the beginning of 2019, the Republican Renaissance Foundation, together with the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the participation of Kazan Federal University, began to implement a project to create multilingual general education complexes with training in Russian, Tatar and English. Each complex includes kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, and two out-of-town centers for additional education are being created. The start-up project provides for the construction of six educational complexes - two in Kazan, Elabuga, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk and Almetyevsk. The first two - in Kazan and Elabuga, accepted students on September 1, 2020. At the suggestion of M.Sh.Shaimiev, all the complexes are united by the name “Adymnar (steps) - the path to knowledge and harmony”.
