Tatarstan residents are invited to participate in creative contests dedicated to A. Chekhov and M. Sholokhov
Professionals and amateurs of literature, history, music, theater and fine arts can take part in 14 international competitions, a festival and the Congress of volunteers of culture, educational tourism and media. These events are held for Russians and foreigners with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund and members of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
Until October 15, 2020, 14 international creative competitions are held. The total prize fund is 420,000 thousand rubles.

The Congress and Festival are dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the birth of A.P. Chekhov and the 115th anniversary of the birth of M.A. Sholokhov, to the work of other outstanding writers, thanks to whom the whole world became famous non-capital regions of Russia.
As explained by the head of the organizing committee, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Leonid Shafirov, the Second International Congress of Cognitive Tourism, Culture and Media Volunteers "Living Heritage of the Small Motherland" and the # Get to know Russia literary festival - part of a large-scale educational project # Get to know Russia, which has been implemented since 2013 and unites thousands of information volunteers, lovers of the Russian language and literature from Russia and abroad.
In 2019, the Rostov Region hosted the First International Congress of Culture and Media Volunteers, in which representatives of 18 countries and 25 regions of Russia took part (for more details, https://www.oprf.ru/press/news/2019/newsitem/50991).
Within the framework of the Congress, the results of the Volunteer literary and musical online marathon # The fate of a person will be summed up. A living book, the result of which will be the creation of a video book about the fate of wartime generations. It contains photographs of the relatives of the project participants - representatives of these generations: war veterans, home front workers, children of the war, - songs of the war years, excerpts from the popular story "The Fate of a Man" (for more details https://www.oprf.ru/press/news / 2617 / newsitem / 53516).
In October, music lovers will gather an online concert on YouTube. Among the speakers and organizers of the event is the world champion in accordion Alexander Poeluev https://www.youtube.com/user/alexanderpoeluev.
Earlier, culture volunteers created a music video recording to the music of the song by Yan Frenkel and Rasul Gamzatov "Cranes", as well as based on the story of the Don writer Vitaly Zakrutkin "Mother of Man".
