Rustam Minnikhanov opened an animation school in Almetyevsk
The animation school, created by the Tatneft company in cooperation with the Soyuzmultfilm film studio, opened today in Almetyevsk.
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and General Director of PJSC TATNEFT Nail Maganov took part in the grand opening of the school.
The concept of the animation school was developed jointly with specialists from the oldest Russian film studio "Soyuzmultfilm". The multifunctional space, created with the support of TATNEFT, allows children not only to learn various animation techniques, but also to develop creative skills. This is the first such school in Tatarstan.
The study space is divided into two buildings, in one of which classes are held for preschool children. Here children can get acquainted with the basics of creating cartoons in hand-drawn, sand, plasticine and stop-motion techniques, as well as develop communication skills with the help of educational technologies developed by Soyuzmultfilm based on the animated series Prostokvashino and Monsiki.
The second building of the school is for older students. Here, with the help of special equipment, they can learn 2D and 3D computer animation, as well as work in the motioncapture hall.
An important feature of the school is the versatility of all its spaces, which are transformed depending on the events held. So, in addition to coursework on animation, the school will host film screenings, lectures, master classes. In addition, students will be able to work on related educational programs that will help them learn how to work with the camera, screenwriting, directing, blogging, subject and photography.

As the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted, the construction of such social infrastructure facilities, landscaping of public spaces, parks and courtyards makes Almetyevsk better and more comfortable for life. He stressed that this is a great merit of PJSC TATNEFT - the company is engaged in projects in various fields.
