Memory day of warriors –internationalists to be held in Naberezhny Chelny branch of library

February 15,  2013,  Day of memory on Russians, having performed call of duty beyond the borders of Motherland  and 24th anniversary of withdrawal from  the Soviet troops from Afghanistan will be held.

This  day,  at  the  branch of Naberezhny Chelny library,  an action called      «Day of memory of warriors-internationalists dated to the famous date,  the blind and partially sighted will remember Chelny residents –participants of the wars in Afghanistan and   Chechnya.

Over 2 thousand  chelnians took part in a fierce and  blooded war in Afghanistan. Presently,       1533 soldiers-afghaners   live in  Naberezhny Chelny, 33 chelnians died on the battle field. For 10 years of war 37 chelnians  perished. For 12 years in Chechnya   – 34 chelnians .
