Exhibition to 140th anniversary of the great Russian singer F.I.Shalyapin section of arts of RT National Ballet presents

Section of arts  of RT NB from  February  9.  2013 presents exhibition  to  140th anniversary of the great  Russian singer  F.I. Shalyapin (1873-1938) to the attention of    the readers .

In Books and articles, presented in the exhibition,  it is told about   ascents and rises, creative   life of the artist, about stokes of  fate, years of emigration . Acquaintance with  the exhibition materials confirms words of S.B.Rakhmaninov, once  written : «This is a miracle-artist with a  genuine  fabulous talent ».

Kazan  – motherland of the great singer. Here, he passed children and youth years, here he received the first impressions about opera  in Kazan city theatre. Here, for the first time he enters   the theatrical stage.   Name and talent of the great singer, as always, are very dear to the heart of every Kazaner. In 1999,  in Kazan,  the only in the world  monument  to the artist was installed. Since 1982, here, with a great success has been held one of the great  in the world International opera festival named after F. Shalyapin. XXXI season of which  is taking place   in the city presently.
