From April 5 to 7, in Kazan, ХI International festival «Europe-Asia » will be held in Kazan. The festival celebrates its 20th anniversary. Holding the festival «Europe-Asia» is dedicated to a remarkable for the Tatarstan and Russia as a whole event – XXVII World summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan. In seven concerts of the festival will sound music of 15 countries e world.
The guests of present festival will be the musicians from Sweden, Switzerland, Croatia, Vietnam, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Japan, China and Russia.
It has become already a tradition that the festival opens by a symphonic concert. It is to be staged on April 5 at 6.30p.m.at the State Big concert hall named after S. Saidash with participation of Kazan chamber orchestra «La Primavera» under conduct of Rustem Abyazov. The works of composers of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Russia.
On April 6, the concerts of chamber music will be held. The concerts will pass in concert halls of Kazan music college named after I.V. Aukhadeev (13:00), exposition hall of RT National library музея (15:00), in a hall of peoples friendship (17:00), and on April 7 day concerts will take place in a hall of RT Union of composers (13:00) and chamber hall of S. Saidash (15:00).
The festival will be completed by a Big Gala concert, which is to take place on April 7 at 17.00 in S. Saidash State Big concert hall

International festival фестиваль of new music «Europe-Asia» – one of the major and significant republican measures. Its history the festival links to 1993 and the beginning of it was laid by international festival of Japanese and Tatar music which took place in 1992. For this time the festival received guests from 25 countries of the world .
