In Kazan, on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the TASSR, the exhibition "Forward to the Past" has opened

Today, on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the TASSR, the exhibition “Forward to the past” has opened at the Museum of the History of Statehood of the Tatar People and the Republic of Tatarstan. The exposition includes materials from enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Museum of History and Local Lore of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve.

The exhibition introduces the main achievements of the region in various fields of science, heavy industry, defense production, agriculture, as well as the activities of large enterprises: KAMAZ, Kazan Optical and Mechanical Plant, Kazan Motor-Industrial Production Association, Kazan Plant "ELECTROPRIBOR", "TASMA", "Melita", Kazan Aviation Plant named after S. P. Gorbunov, "Tatkhimpharmpreparaty" and others.

Among the exhibits are a model of an oil drilling rig, a KAMAZ-6522, 2,000,000 car model, an ejection seat Tu-16, a television-guided missile model with a DG-128A hydraulic stabilizer, a Jupiter-37A photographic lens, and a Kama movie camera, milking machine and much more.

 The exhibition runs until September 20, 2020.
