RT SMFA invites for opening of personal exhibition by Elena Titova «Kazansky cherdachok (attic)»

On January 17,  at  16.00, opening of the personal exhibition by  Elena Titova called «Kazansky cherdacok (Attic)» is to be held in RT Kazan state museum of fine arts».

«Dear adults and children. and  also adult children! «Kazansky cherdachok» is dedicated to you, your parents, grandmothers and grandfathers whose toys and things became heroes  of pictures and small pictures – such words precede annotation to the personal exhibition by Elena Titova.

The exhibition presents over  60 picturesque works. One of brightest work  – «Elka (fir-tree)», gathered from New Year toys  of 50th years, which decorations  were made up of  signed New Year postcards of various years.

The basis of the project  became a collection of Kazan artist –dolls-maker Alexandr Stukov who collected toys and things of the socialist past   (30-80th years of last century). The picture  «Old-New year» or «Chemodannaya» are dedicated to it. Central installation of the exhibition  – «Wag-on the-wall» - remind us about past times.

In Children Center of RT SMFA, after acquaintance with exhibition, all the willing   will have the chance to recall childhood at the table  with pencils, paints and colored paper. The exhibition to last until March  10.

Elena Titova  – artist –painter. She was born in Izhevsk  on March 28,  year of  1974. 1996  - graduated from art –graphic faculty of Udmurt state university. 2001  - graduated from Creative  work shop of Russian Academy of Painting in Kazan. Elena Titova  - permanent participant of zone, Russian and international projects.  She is a member of RT Union of painters of Tatarstan and Russia. Her works are stored in collections: RT State museum  of fine arts, museum reserve  «Kazansky Kremlin», In Kazansky theatre of youth and private collections in Russia and abroad.
